David Morassutti and Austin Owens discuss how the Toronto Maple Leafs have been trying to sort out their struggles at home and life without William Nylander and Auston Matthews.

The Toronto Maple Leafs got over a tough stretch with a big win against the Pittsburgh Penguins and why the team plays differently at home than on the road along. They also discuss the lack of progress in William Nylander’s contract situation.

The team ended a two-game home losing streak with a win over the Vegas Golden Knights with a back-to-back against the New Jersey Devils and the Boston Bruins. They look at the rest of the schedule for November and what it means going forward. How have the Leafs looked without Auston Matthews and Nylander not in the lineup? David and Austin give their thoughts.

David brings up Frederik Andersen‘s play as the big reason why the team has been so successful in the early part of the season which has been surprising given how he had started the last couple of seasons.

David and Austin opened the podcast with a discussion on the Uber situation with the Ottawa Senators and why it is an unfortunate situation for the organization but something which could have ended up being worse all things considering. Unfortunately, the team didn’t handle the situation in the best way possible which didn’t help the matter as well.
