Week 16 – at New England Patriots

At this point in the season, who knows what state the Patriots will be in. They may be in full-on tank mode, or Jarrett Stidham could be the next Tom Brady and this game could be for the division.

The last Bills’ victory at Gillette came in 2016. while Brady was serving his four-game deflate-gate suspension. Jacoby Brissett couldn’t get anything going on the day, as the Bills defence pitched a shutout en route to a 16-0 win.

This feels like another defensive battle that could have everything, or nothing, on the line. However, with that Monday Night Football magic, 2020 is the year that the Bills win again in Foxborough.

Prediction: 13-10 Bills

Week 17 – vs Miami Dolphins

More from Tip of the Tower

It’s always nice to give the Dolphins a taste of winter, as Miami will roll into New Era Field on a crisp January day in Western New York. At this point in the season, barring injury, Tua Tagovailoa should be in at quarterback for the ‘Phins.

Again, this could mean Miami’s in the playoff race or playing for pride. At the very least however, it should be interesting to see how the Hawaiian-born pivot who played all of his college ball in the deep south handles the conditions.

My crystal ball, which can always be trusted, says that the Bills will have locked down the division at this point, and will be resting their starters. Tagovailoa handles the cold, and the Dolphins win, but at 11-5, the Bills are moving on to bigger and better things.

Prediction: 27-14 Dolphins
