Toronto Raptors: Re-airing 2019 championship run a no brainer
Both TSN and Sportsnet will re-air the Toronto Raptors 2019 championship run giving fans something to watch during the COVD-19 pandemic.
If you want to remember the good times, Sportsnet and TSN have you covered as the broadcasters will be re-airing the Toronto Raptors championship run.
Starting March 20, the magical playoff run will be shown starting with Game 1 of the first-round playoff series against the Orlando Magic although you can probably skip that one. In a time where there isn’t a lot of programming options available that would interest fans, this seems like a no brainer option.
Since the Toronto Blue Jays won back-to-back World Series championships, there isn’t a sports moment that united the country like last year’s title run and when you think about it, there’s no downside for either network with this decision.

Considering the next time we may see a live sporting event might not be until May, this will fill in some much-needed broadcast time up until April 12 which is when Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors will air. You can find the broadcast details here.
In other news, the reigning NBA champions were on the cover of SLAM magazine. The in-depth article looks into the team’s season and the historic streak which saw the Raptors set a new record among Canadian professional sports teams.
Now, the most recent development suggested that the NBA won’t be returning until mid-to-late June which is not exactly what you want to see considering the impact it will have on next season. At the same time, Toronto has been dealing with some injuries so you can only hope this layoff is giving the team some much-needed healing time.
As much as the team is trying to keep fans entertained with videos of Nick Nurse reminding fans to wash their hands or players showing what they are doing in their spare time, fans will be desperate to see players back on the court.
For the time being, enjoy the greatest moment in franchise history considering there isn’t much us to look forward to right now.
