Speculation season is upon us and the Toronto Maple Leafs are in the middle of it with the NHL trade deadline approaching.
Whether it is the team’s blue line or their backup goalie position, the team has been among the many contenders making calls to inquire about potential trade targets. We looked at some players the Leafs could be interested and discussed what should be at the top of the list.

The most obvious one is trying to get Alexander Georgiev from the New York Rangers. What would the Leafs have to give up in a potential deal and would it be worth it over the long run?
