Convince Rob Gronkowski out of retirement

This option represents the longest of long shots, and it will almost undoubtedly never happen, but we can all dream.

Gronk is a Western New York guy who always enjoyed playing in Orchard Park, so why not tune it up for one more ride? He would almost single-handedly solve the Bills size issue, and sell some tickets while he’s at it.

Sure he isn’t a wide receiver but the Bills haven’t had a tight end with Gronk’s ability and he would be the ideal endzone target for Allen. Of course, the 30-year-old seems to be enjoying retirement and his business adventures outside of the NFL.

He has been through various injuries and says he probably had 20 concussions while playing football. Now he is partnering with CBDMedic, a company that makes a pain treatment using CBD. That alone might impact his ability to return to the NFL.

Even a Marshawn Lynch-type scenario where he pops up around playoff time would please so many in the region. Do I believe any of this is even remotely possible? No, not really. But a guy can dream, right?

Regardless, that would be a more desperate attempt considering there are several avenues the Bills can consider.
