Buffalo Bills should stay away from Antonio Brown after being released
With Antonio Brown now a free agent after being released by the Oakland Raiders, the Buffalo Bills would be better off not signing the wide receiver.
To see it has been an interesting past few months for Antonio Brown would definitely be overstating things and if the Buffalo Bills want to avoid a potential disaster, they should stay away.
If Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus calls Brandon Beane the answer should be “we already tried this and you rejected us.” If you want a refresher, back in March, the Bills made an attempt to trade for Brown when the Pittsburgh Steelers made him available. Brown disputed the rumours basically putting a stop to the trade.

Fortunately for Buffalo, they avoided a potential disaster and who knows what they were going to give up in return for Brown and what the contract would have looked like. This is not to say Buffalo couldn’t use a receiver like Brown, they need someone who can be reliable and not a distraction.
In a way, the team already showed they were ready to move forward signing Cole Beasley and John Brown. This is really not a matter of finding room for Brown because we know the Bills would open up a roster spot but they don’t have as big of a hole there in comparison to last season.
Just in case you were wondering if the team had any interest in another attempt to sign Brown, Tim Graham of The Athletic offered this up.
So Bills fans can breathe knowing the team has no desire in bringing in the former Pro Bowl receiver. They should just see how this season plays out and try to draft or sign a receiver in the draft although that appears to be easier said than done.
What might cause a problem is if another team in the AFC East signs the receiver considering the New England Patriots are considered a landing spot for Brown. That cannot sway the Bills thought process considering the Patriots would be taking a big risk signing Brown.
Buffalo should just let them make that mistake because right now it doesn’t appear as if Brown is thinking straight and seems to only want what’s best for him.
