Toronto Blue Jays: Bo Bichette showing no signs of slowing down
Bichette continues to dazzle for the Toronto Blue Jays since getting promoted and it is hard to ignore how dominant he’s been playing.
When you look at Bo Bichette‘s first 25 games with the Toronto Blue Jays, you can’t help but be impressed.
Look beyond the fact he’s hitting .345/.386/.682. with eight home runs and 14 RBIs, the 21-year-old went up against Clayton Kershaw and not one but two home runs against one of the most dominant pitchers in the game.

Fast forward to Saturday night, Toronto was looking for a better result in their second home against the Seattle Mariners The Blue Jays were looking to solve Felix Hernandez and there was Bichette again following up a home run from Teoscar Hernandez with a homer of his own.
This is the type of progress and development you want to see a prospect like Bichette make but eventually things are going to even up and it will be important to see how he responds. It happened with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and it will likely come for Bichette too.
Unlike Vladdy, Bichette has more upside defensively and his approach at the plate makes him a perfect option at the top of the lineup. At this point, let him dictate his path like Guerrero has done and you have to run with it.
This is what the Blue Jays are banking on to lead them in the next stage of their rebuild and obviously, everyone is hoping the same thing can happen with their pitching prospects.
There are still fundamental things you want to see the team improve on but when you consider how Bichette, Guerrero, and even Cavan Biggio have performed, this is something that should make pessimistic fans somewhat optimistic about the future.
What are your thoughts on what Bichette and the rest of the young players have done lately? Can they continue this or do you expect them to go through some rough patches? Let us know in the comments below.
