Buffalo Bills: Breaking down each game in the 2019 schedule
Week 17: vs New York Jets
This is where it will all come to pass. Hopefully, the Bills are still playing meaningful football at this point in the season and can find a way to sneak into the playoffs. Weather will likely be a factor in this game, as OP in late December is no joke.
The Bills are built like a cold-weather team, though, with a big, strong quarterback, an effective situational running game, and a stout defence that is good enough to carry the offence through some of its growing pains.

If the Bills win this game, they should be right around that 9-7 mark that has become quite familiar to Bills fans over the years.
Will that be good enough to get into the playoffs in the AFC, home of the Patriots, Jets, Bills, Ravens, Steelers, Browns, Titans, Jaguars, Texans, Colts, Chargers, Raiders and Chiefs, all feasible playoff teams? Maybe, maybe not. It is clear, though, that the Bills are on the right path.
After being half in half out on quarterbacks like Thad Lewis and Tyrod Taylor, the Bills have found their man in Josh Allen and are starting to assemble the pieces around him.
So don’t worry if 2019 isn’t the year for a Buffalo Bills Super Bowl victory. More game action can only help players like Allen and Ed Oliver get acclimated to what this league brings to the table. Brady won’t be around forever. I think.
