Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Aaron Sanchez was upset after his team was handily swept by the Los Angeles Angels, something we have seen before.

It was a tough stretch for the Toronto Blue Jays in Anaheim as they dropped all three games to the Los Angeles Angels.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. sat out the final contest after going 0-for-6 with three strikeouts in the first two games of the series.

Aaron Sanchez took the bump for the Blue Jays in the finale and had a tough night, allowing nine hits and four earned runs while walking two while striking out a pair over four innings. The Jays would go on to lose 6-2 as the Halos completed the sweep.

Following the game, Sanchez was none too pleased with the performance of his teammates to start the road trip.

"“It was f—— brutal, to be honest,” he said, according to Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi. “I mean, we played so well. We go out there and sweep Oakland who’s a pretty good team and then you come out here and just get embarrassed. It’s not fun when you go out there and guys just weren’t ready to play, I felt like. It is what it is. On to the next series.”"

The Blue Jays were outscored 16-8 over the course of the series.

Now, this isn’t the first time Sanchez has sounded off like this. Last season he had a rough outing and made it clear he wasn’t happy about how his struggles and the finger issues he was dealing with letting his frustrations out in a similar manner.

On top of the losses, the Blue Jays have reportedly been shopping Sanchez, as well as Marcus Stroman and Justin Smoak, The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal said during a Monday panel discussion on MLB Network.

Sanchez has a 3-2 record on the year with a 3.09 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP over 35 innings. He left another start early after breaking his fingernail in an outing against the Oakland Athletics, however, he didn’t miss a start.

Even on a team that’s considered to be in a rebuild, nobody is ever happy with losing. The Blue Jays will be looking to improve on their 14-17 record when they start a three-game set with the Texas Rangers on Friday.
