The best moments from the Air Canada Centre era

The Air Canada Centre has hosted several huge moments in it’s time, but which ones are the best?
On February 2, 2005, Toronto Blue Jays fans got a shock as the home of the Blue Jays, the SkyDome, was forever changed to the Rogers Centre. Now 12 years later, and fans can still be heard calling the stadium by its old name.
Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors fans will have to get used to the same as the home of their respective teams will be donning a new name come next Canada Day.

Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment reached a record 20-year, $800 million agreement with Scotiabank to rename the building “Scotiabank Arena”.
The new name will take place on July 1, 2018, when the MLSE contract with Air Canada runs out. The arena has been called the “Air Canada Centre” since its opening in 1999, but the naming rights contract has existed since 1997.
There have been several great moments in its time, so let’s look back at some of the best moments that have ever taken place at the “ACC”.
