4. The Kevin Durant dream still exists

For the second summer in a row, Kevin Durant was spotted in Toronto during Drake’s OVO Fest, where the superstar forward was seen wearing a Blue Jays’ David Price jersey while hanging out with DeMar DeRozan.

Alright, before we get too excited, keep in mind that KD — and many other NBA players — love Toronto’s Caribana festival and all the events that come with it every August. So it’s normal to see high-profiled celebs here in the city.

Of course, you can make connections for why Durant would consider Toronto. But — I hate to sound too obvious here — until free agency opens up next summer, we really don’t have a clue what KD is thinking. Considering he is one of the league’s biggest superstars, every team will be in hot pursuit of the then 27-year-old forward.

But seeing KD attend the OVO Bounce tournament, David Price’s first start, and OVO Fest with DeRozan, I think it’s safe to say that Durant really enjoys Toronto. Hopefully he gives TO a long look next summer, but until then, we can only hope and pray that this dream will one day become a reality.
