One reason why the Raptors lost a hold on their early big lead, was down to their three-point shooting, After hitting six of 10 (60.0 percent) from downtown in the first quarter, they went just nine of 28 (32.1 percent) the rest of the way.
Kyle Lowry had one of his quieter games of the season, but still had a sneaky good performance. In fact he just missed out on a triple double, after scoring 10 points, dishing out 12 assists and grabbing eight rebounds.
This was the Raptors’ seventh consecutive victory, their longest run of the season after two previous six-game winning streaks. In the process, their improved their record to an NBA-best 19-4.
In a similar vein, consider how proficient the Raptors and Warriors have both been in winning this season. As per Sports Illustrated, the two teams entered the night with 33 combined victories, the third-most in a pre-December matchup since way back in the 1976-77 season.
