4) Kyle Lowry continues hot streak
There were understandable concerns about how Kyle Lowry would react, after the Raptors traded DeMar DeRozan during the offseason. There was even speculation he ignored called from President Masai Ujiri.

However, this is not the same player who was renowned for being petulant earlier in his career. Lowry has been a revelation so far this season as he leads the NBA with 11.6 assists per game, 2.8 ahead of his nearest competitor.
The point guard continued his hot streak on Sunday night, as he controlled the game and equaled his season-high of 15 dimes. In the process, he also set a franchise record with 10 or more assists in eight consecutive games.
Lowry also threw in 21 points and six boards, to prove that no matter how he feels about the DeRozan situation, he is the consummate professional on the court. As a result, he is flourishing in Nurse’s system and even if he doesn’t keep up this torrid pace, he is still on course for his best regular season yet.
