We look at the latest injury news and game odds for the Buffalo Bills, as they travel to Green Bay and aim to build on their stunning upset win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Last week, along with most other people, we gave the Buffalo Bills virtually no chance of beating the Vikings in Minnesota. The only way we could see it happening, was if we entered “the Buffalo Bills’ zone”, where anything can happen.

And this turned out to be exactly the case, as the Bills stormed out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, on their way to a stunning 27-6 upset win. Now, the question is, can they repeat the trick in Green Bay, against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers?

Despite the shock victory in Minnesota, the Bills are unsurprisingly underdogs again in Week 4. At the time of writing, Odds Shark have them as 9.5-point underdogs in Green Bay.

Further, the average predicted scoreline is 27.7-14.5 in favor of the Packers. However, this will not intimidate a Bills’ team which were the third-biggest underdogs in NFL history against the Vikings.

More from Buffalo Bills

Interestingly, history is also on the Bills’ side in this matchup. In the all-time series between these two sides, the Bills have a 8-4 record in the 12 meetings, all in the regular season.

Even the most recent meeting in December, 2014 offers hope for the Western New York fan base. The Bills again secured an upset win as they dominated Rodgers in Buffalo, limiting him to a 40 percent completion rate for 185 yards, no scores and two picks.

As always, injuries will play a key factor. And as you’d expect in Week 4, the Bills have their longest injury report yet.

Fortunately for the Bills and their fans, you can disregard two of the players on this week’s report right away. As has been the case throughout this season so far, Lorenzo Alexander and Kyle Williams were given rest days and will both be good to go on Sunday.

Of the remaining players, LeSean McCoy is undoubtedly the most significant player on the report. His rib injury has limited his participation in practice and he could well miss a second consecutive game, with him being listed as questionable.

In truth, the injury report is not as bad as seems at first glance. Shaq Lawson, Phillip Gaines, Micah Hyde and Trent Murphy were all included, but have been passed as good to go in Green Bay

Charles Clay, who seemed to be regularly on the injury report last season, makes his first appearance on this year’s edition. Shoulder and hip issues have severely limited his practice this week, and he is questionable for Sunday.

The final two players on the Week 4 report, are Marcus Murphy and Jason Croom. They are dealing with rib and knee issues respectively, which have also limited their participation in practice and are both are listed as questionable to face the Packers.

Overall, despite last week, we haven’t learnt our lesson, as we’re going to predict a Packers win. Although we do expect the Bill to make a game of it, and are now acutely aware of “the Buffalo Bills zone”!
