5) Will the Bills make it back-to-back appearances in the playoffs?

Last season saw the Bills do what was almost considered impossible – they broke the longest running playoff drought in the NFL (and indeed in all four major professional sports leagues in North America). To say there was relief around Western New York after ending the nightmare streak of 17 seasons, would be an extreme understatement.

Now, the Bills have their eyes set on starting a more positive streak, by qualifying for the playoffs for a second consecutive season. However, it’s not going to be easy, especially when taking the previous factors into account.

Yes, the togetherness, discipline and work ethic has improved under McDermott. But on the flip side, there is no getting around the concern this team arguably has less overall talent compared to last season. (And that’s even if McCoy is cleared to play).

Most football analysts predict the Bills are a 8-8 team at best. This makes sense when you look at their schedule, which includes; New England (twice), along with Minnesota, Green Bay and Baltimore all on the road.

Home games against the likes of Tennessee, Los Angeles (Chargers) Jacksonville and even Detroit, also figure to challenge the Bills. In reality, this team will do well to go .500 in 2018.
