4) Long overdue some good fortune

You’ve most probably heard of the saying that sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. In this respect, the Raptors are desperately in need of some good fortune.

More to the point, Toronto is well overdue, especially against Cleveland. Down 0-3 in the series, they should realistically have at least one win.

More from Toronto Raptors

Game 3 was heartbreaking, just because of what the Raptors had done to get back into the contest. However, just as it looked as if they’d done enough to force overtime, James worked his magic.

Of course, Saturday night was nothing compared to the opening game of the series, in Toronto. Seemingly in control all night, the Raptors somehow allowed the Cavaliers to come back late and win in overtime.

It was as unexpected as it was frustrating. As Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue admitted afterwards, it felt like his team had stolen one.

Now, it’s up to the Raptors to see if they can steal one themselves, and force the series to return to Toronto. If they can get a little luck, it’s a genuine possibility.
