Toronto Raptors: 6 Revelations for Game 2 victory over Wizards

6) So, Lorenzo Brown Brown is a thing
G League MVP Lorenzo Brown officially played in the NBA postseason. When I saw Brown checking in I was shocked, but he did his thing (relatively).
In six minutes of play, Brown shot 1-of-2 from deep and had a slick assist to Siakam for a dunk. Do I expect him to contribute further in the playoffs?

Oddly, yes. Casey is serious about using every single tool in his toolbox off the bench. If you don’t have it during your allotted play time (Norm) then you’re getting the hook for someone who’s chomping at the bit.
You play well, you play. Never forget Norman Powell was this squad’s starting small forward before OG Anunoby Wally Pip’d him. Vanvleet was the team’s fifth guard before he showed out and Poeltl outplayed Lucas Nogueira for the backup centre spot.
Brown showed a little something in his limited minutes in Game 2. He might not be back for Game 3, but he’ll be back sooner than later.
