Buffalo Bills mock draft 1.0: First two rounds of the 2018 draft
By James Reeve
SECOND ROUND, 56th OVERALL (via Rams)
This pick is arguably the biggest stretch on this list, given how highly rated the Michigan Wolverine is.
Maurice Hurst could easily be selected in the first round, even by the Bills, but after a heart condition was recently discovered, his place on draft boards could easily slide.
If Hurst slides this far in the draft, Buffalo will no doubt pounce as he would be an excellent addition to their defensive line.

- Buffalo Bills run game providing much-needed boost to offense
He is fast out of the gate and is an adept rusher on the inside, picking up five sacks, three QB hurries, one forced fumble and two broken passes in his last season in Michigan.
Hurst is smaller than your average defensive tackle, which means he could be overpowered by some of the larger offensive lines in the league.
However, he has a low center of gravity and keeps his body low when rushing – something that could cause plenty of disruption to offensive lines in the NFL and make him a unique player to possess up front.
Hurst would be able to rotate in and out of the Bills’ D-line from day one and would be an impact player in his rookie season, making him a must-target player if he does fall this far.
