The former Winnipeg Jet has been brilliant for Buffalo all season long. Kane impacts the players around by making them play and perform on the level he is at this season. Even when a game is dusted for Buffalo, Kane still finds ways to contribute to the morale of the club.
Kane is up for an extension after the season ends. Jason Botterill could let the winger hit free agency, meaning that Buffalo wouldn’t get anything in return. Or, they will have to clear their pockets as Kane is in for a big pay-day.
