Buffalo Bills collapse in third quarter versus Patriots: 5 Takeaways
By Curtis Panke
5. Kyle Williams and LeSean McCoy make Bills history
While many things didn’t go the Bills’ way on Sunday, there were a couple of record-breaking moments during the game that should be celebrated by the Bills Mafia.
The first was Kyle Williams recording the most sacks by a defensive tackle in team history, when he brought down Brady in the second quarter.
Williams is also currently seventh on the team’s all-time sack list with 42.5 and would pass Mario Williams (43 sacks) for sixth place with one more.
Williams also set the record for the most games played by a defensive tackle in team history.
The second record was set by LeSean McCoy who tied Travis Henry as the fastest Bills running backs to reach 3,000 rushing yards with the team.
McCoy also became the fifth active player with 13,000 scrimmage yards, joining Frank Gore, Larry Fitzgerald, Matt Forte and Adrian Peterson.
Next week the Bills host the Indianapolis at 1:00 p.m.
