The Buffalo Bills suffered their biggest loss of the season and another major blow to their playoff hopes, thanks to an unnecessary gamble by head coach Sean McDermott.
What started as a march to the playoffs this season has turned into a march off a cliff for the Buffalo Bills in the span of three weeks.
After losing the last two games in embarrassing fashion, Bills head coach Sean McDermott shocked the NFL when he decided to bench starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor in favour of rookie Nathan Peterman, to turn their season around against the Los Angeles Chargers.

McDermott’s gamble failed in spectacular fashion and now the Buffalo Bills are on the outside looking in on the AFC wild-card picture.
The Chargers picked apart the Bills on offence and defence and beat Buffalo 54-24, handing them their worst loss of the season.
The loss has created a lot of doubt about whether or not this season can be saved, with six games now remaining on the schedule.
