Greg Monroe is eating the Raptors defense alive whenever he’s on the court. Is there anyway to remedy this?

Chris: Greg Monroe is playing out of his mind right now. We’ve seen Casey throw Ibaka, Jonas Valanciunas and Jakob Poeltl, albeit for only four minutes, at Monroe, but I think it’s pretty clear Ibaka is the guy best suited to cover Monroe.

Ibaka isn’t the greatest post defender, but he can more than hold his own against Monroe and he is able to compete with him on the glass. He also has the lateral quickness to switch off Monroe and provide weakside help, should the Raptors need it. I doubt Ibaka will shut Monroe down, but he can at least slow him down.

Demar: No. Name me one player on the Raptors that is a good post defender. Don’t worry, I’ll wait.
