The Buffalo Bills earned their second straight win in dominant fashion as they start to round into form.

If there were any concerns about the Buffalo Bills after the first two weeks of the season, they certainly did their best to silence any doubts with a 43-21 rout of the Washington Football Team.

With the victory, it’s tough to not view the Bills as a top-five team in the NFL as they build momentum towards their first real challenge in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Of course, it’s just three weeks into the season and there are still areas the team needs to work on but the players have certainly stepped up their game since a rough start against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Here are some observations from Buffalo’s win as they look to keep things going against the Houston Texans in Week 4.

Emmanuel Sanders continues to be a trusty long threat for Buffalo Bills

It appears the decision to replace John Brown with Emmanuel Sanders was the right call by general manager Brandon Beane.

After putting up 100 yards on six catches in the first two games of the season, Sanders had a breakout performance with five catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

Having that veteran presence is not only having a benefit on the field but also in the locker room with a young quarterback still looking to take the next step.

"“He’s got juice. He’s been great for me. I know he’s been great for the other guys in this locker room,” Allen said about Sanders. “And to have that guy who’s been there and done it and won the whole thing, to have his presence, I think that’s huge for us. And it’s only going to continue to get better.”"

This is the type of player that perfectly compliments what the Bills are trying to do with their offense. They aren’t afriad to take their shots down the field but only if they have the players capable of making the plays and it’s clear that the 34-year-old still has quite a bit of juice in him.
