Round Two – Pick 61 – Carlos “Boogie” Basham Jr. – DE – Wake Forest

With their second pick, the Bills doubled down on defensive line talent and added another ACC pass rusher in Boogie Basham Jr.

Whereas Rousseau is more of a crafty EDGE guy, Basham Jr. prefers to do like his name: Bash. A little more stout than Rousseau, Basham Jr. goes through people, not around them.

Despite playing a physical brand of football, Basham Jr. has poured in four healthy seasons at Wake Forest. He broke out in 2019, recording 11 sacks, 18 TFLs and 13 quarterback hits.

His play style might need some refining now that he’ll be going against NFL offensive linemen, but further bolstering the pass rush is not a bad thing.

Grade: B+

Round Three – Pick 93 – Spencer Brown – OT – Northern Iowa

He’s six-foot-eight, 311 pounds and he went through a table as soon as he got drafted. Is there anything else you need to know? If you do, watch some of these highlights.

Grade: A+
