Buffalo Bills 2021 NFL Draft: 3 areas team should look to address
Buffalo Bills: Contending teams elevate themselves with a great edge rusher
It can’t be understated the value of getting to the quarterback especially after what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did to Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl.
The Bills were victims of a vintage performance from the Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback and that should give them some desire to improve their pass rush. Depending on who is available late in the first round there is a trio of prospects to consider.
Gregory Rousseau would be at the top of the list and a reason why the Bills would consider adding a defender over a running back. His pro day didn’t go so well but that could allow him to slide lower in the draft.
Kwity Paye, Azeez Ojulari and Jaelan Phillips are also options to consider but if Rousseau is there at 30, it’s hard to pass over him. Phillips would be the second option but his concussion history will make a lot of teams question using a first-round pick on him.
