The 2021 world juniors will feature many Toronto Maple Leafs prospects.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a plethora of talented prospects who will be competing in the 2021 World Junior Hockey Championship.

While the majority of Leafs fans were excited to watch Nick Robertson suit up for team USA this winter, it was announced that he will be joining the Maple Leafs at training camp and will not partake in this year’s tournament.

That being said, there are still six Leafs prospects to keep an eye on this year. Winger Rodion Amirov will most definitely be the focal point for Leafs fans and pundits as he will suit up for Russia alongside fellow Toronto prospects in forward Mikhail Abramov and goaltender Artur Akhtyamov.

Mikko Kokkonen leads the way for the Finnish prospects as he will play in his second consecutive tournament for team Finland, while Roni Hirvonen and Topi Niemelä will make their first trip to the world juniors.

Here is a look at what each prospect has been up to ahead of the tournament and what you can expect to see from each of them.
