4. Throwback powder blues (2020-present)

With powder blues making a comeback around the league, it’s only right that one of the pioneers of the movement gets in on the action.

In one of the only good things to come from this godforsaken year, the Blue Jays unveiled throwback powder blue uniforms to critical acclaim.

Although fans never got to see the new duds in person, the team made sure to break them out on occasion, even wearing them for Game 2 of their brief playoff series with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The new iteration of the powder blues doesn’t feature the city’s name on the front like the originals, but it gets pretty much everything else right. The touches of dark blue to balance out the look are in all the right places, and the Nike swoosh gives the look some street cred.

In unveiling these new threads, the team released a new cap to go with them. While it doesn’t quite have the timeless look of its white-panelled predecessor, it fits the look to a tee, with a powder blue brim working in contrast with a dark blue body.

This look does everything you want a throwback to do and then some, and should make frequent appearances, both in the stands and on the diamond.
