3. Tamper for Antetokounmpo

Alright, this one is a little more light-hearted, but you get my drift. The Raptors need to at least make themselves known to Milwaukee Bucks PF/SF Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Perhaps this comes in the form of some casual trade talks with the Bucks just to demonstrate interest, or maybe it’ll just be a couple of phone calls, but as we found out with Kawhi Leonard’s move to the Los Angeles Clippers a summer ago, it pays to jump the gun as much as legally possible.

Ironically enough, the two teams that have most recently eliminated the Bucks in a playoff series are the two that have been most frequently linked to him in trade/premature free agent signing talks. The Miami Heat, who knocked off Milwaukee in five games this season, are looking for a complementary superstar for Jimmy Butler, while the Raptors are looking to turn the one man that has stopped them from winning the Eastern Conference into an ally.

Antetokounmpo has stated his commitment to the Bucks for the upcoming season. But, for what it’s worth, he unfollowed both the official Milwaukee Bucks account and all of his Bucks teammates (except for his brother Thanasis) on Instagram. If next year ends as this one did, it’s hard to see The Greek Freak sticking around in Milwaukee much longer.

All I’m saying is Toronto has a pretty amazing Greektown.
