Moss overtakes Singletary on depth chart

The Bills running game has the chance to be a productive unit this season with two young running backs in Devin Singletary and Zack Moss.

Buffalo will likely start with Singletary who has shown great elusiveness and pass-catching ability. At the same time, some might be sleeping on Moss who was selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He is a more physical back and has been praised for his ball security which will make him a favourite of the coaching staff. Singletary will get a lot of the early-down work but when it comes to getting the ball into the endzone, that’s where Moss will overtake him.

If Singletary gets injured or struggles, the Bills might not think twice before making a change. It’s still early to contemplate that but the hype Moss is receiving makes it seem like it could happen sooner rather than later.
