The Buffalo Bills enter the 2020 season with higher expectations than usual and we break down everything you should know and follow.

We are now hours away from kickoff on another Buffalo Bills season and while Orchard Park will have a different feel to it because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the anticipation for this season is still present.

Expectations continue to rise for this group and the team made some additions that should see an improvement on the 2019 season. The trade for Stefon Diggs addressed a clear need at the wide receiver position as Josh Allen will get a bonafide No. 1 target as he tried to take the next step in his development.

The team is without starting defensive tackle Star Lotulelei and cornerback  E.J. Gaines who opted out of the 2020 season because of COVID-19. They still have Tre’Davious White who contemplated opting out but ultimately decided to stay.

If the offensive additions can have an immediate impact, this could be the necessary step the team needs to take in becoming a legitimate contender. Even players who were here during the tough years are starting to see it.

"“The evolution of the Bills offense has come a long way,” said Micah Hyde to the Democrat and Chronicle. “I would never have admitted this back then, but it was frustrating some of those years going out there, defense playing well, getting some takeaways, and then our offense went out there and struggled. It was frustrating. “But now we’re at the point where we’re just as excited for this offense as they are. There’s a bunch of weapons, they get after us in practice. They’re going to be pretty good, we understand that. They’re gonna continue to get better like our defense is and we’re excited.”"

With that being said, here are some things to watch and predictions for the Bills for the 2020 season.
