The Toronto Blue Jays will embark on a season that will be like no other and because of that, there are certain storylines that will important to keep an eye on.

It might have come later than expected and with some challenges but the Toronto Blue Jays will open their regular season against the Tampa Bay Rays.

They will do so with prized free agent Hyun-Jin Ryu taking the mound after signing him to a four-year, $80 million. It was at that point the Blue Jays made it clear they were looking to turn the corner.

Now the 60 game season provides a different challenge especially with the team not able to play home games in Toronto. Hopefully knowing that they have a home in Buffalo (while not ideal) will ease some of the concerns the players might be having about the upcoming season,

Regardless, the team cannot let that be an excuse and it helps that they will be starting off on the road. With that being said, here are some storylines to keep an eye on as the Blue Jays embark on their season.
