Week 12 – vs Los Angeles Chargers

After having the bye week to travel back from Arizona, the Bills will likely be lacing it up against rookie quarterback Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. They will also be seeing a familiar face in former starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor.

Where Herbert’s game will be at come Week 12 is anyone’s guess, but the Chargers have surrounded him with a talented group of players. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams make up one of the best receiver pairings in the AFC. After jettisoning Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler is ready for a full season as the feature back.

Having also released new uniforms and moved into new digs, the Bolts are going to look a little different in 2020. The Bills are eager to create better memories against the Chargers too, as the Nathan Peterman five-interception fiasco is still fresh in fans’ heads.

The last time the Bills beat the Bolts was back in 2008, in what has become known as The Quiet Game. A blackout in the Buffalo area cut all power to the stadium, but since the sun was shining, the game went on, albeit with no announcing, music or replays.

Unfortunately, every game on the NFL calendar in 2020 might resemble The Quiet Game. However, the Bills won then, and they will win now.

Prediction: 23-10 Bills
