Week 10 – at Arizona Cardinals

The Bills will wrap up their NFC West schedule with a trip to the desert for a week 10 clash with the Cardinals. Quarterback Kyler Murray won NFL offensive rookie of the year in 2019, as his star-crossed relationship with Kliff Kingsbury lit up scoreboards across the country.

But, as with Kingsbury’s teams at Texas Tech, defence was an issue. Perennial Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson was suspended by the team last season for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs, and while the team shored up its linebacking corps in free agency, the defence as a whole is still shaky.

The Cardinals did, however, make the single biggest splash of the offseason when they sent running back David Johnson and a couple of picks to Houston for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Murray now has three top tier receivers in Hopkins, the ageless Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk at his disposal.

Tre’Davious White and Hopkins also have a history, as White shadowed Hopkins during the Bills’ 2019 playoff loss against the Texans. How White plays Hopkins could prove to be the difference in this game.

Prediction: 34-24 Bills
