The Toronto Argonauts made seven picks in the CFL Draft and we take a look at who they selected and a note on each player.

Even with the uncertainty surrounding the CFL season, the league checked off an important event on the calendar with the 2020 CFL Draft. The Toronto Argonauts went into the night with seven picks including four in the top 20.

The team gained an extra selection with the territorial pick because it finished in the bottom two which was not something they want to be doing for much longer. Regardless, Thursday night’s draft promised to be an intriguing one considering many players moved up and down the draft rankings.

Jordan Williams was the big story as the B.C. Lions traded up to take the linebacker with the first overall pick. Considering the amount of hype he received going into the draft, it was no surprise to see him get picked.

From there, it was interesting to see where teams decided to address their needs, especially in the later rounds. One thing you always figure out about the CFL Draft is that it is tough to predict where things will go especially seeing a player like Ketel Asse who was expected to go in the first round, ended up dropping down to the Ottawa Redblacks at 65th overall.

With that being said, we take a look at who the Argos drafted and some things to know about each player.
