Dejon Brissett, WR, Virginia

There is a lot of intrigue for Brissett heading into this draft considering his connection to his brother Oshae, who plays for the Toronto Raptors G League team.

Dejon has said that he would like the chance to be back at home with his brother but will he be available when the Argos make their second pick of the first round? It’s tough to say considering he is the top wideout on the Scouting Bureau’s list but teams could look to draft other positions instead.

If he were to fall to the Argos when they pick ninth overall, it could be a nice complement to the current receiver group considering Brissett’s route running and quickness will make him a great addition to Ryan Dinwiddie‘s offence.

Mason Bennett

Bennett is among the top ten prospects heading into the draft and had some NFL interest that didn’t pan out despite showing a strong ability to get to the quarterback.

He was named  Associated Press FCS All-American after the 2019 season despite only playing 10 games where he had 5.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for a loss. During his career at the University of North Dakota, he had 20 sacks.

He will likely go later in the first round but his size and speed off the line will make him a coveted player on the defensive line.
