Every goal scorer generally has a sidekick, and in Robertson’s case, Der-Arguchintsev is his Robin.

“SDA” as everyone likes to call him, was another player that was viewed as the typical Kyle Dubas, a smallish skilled centre with potential. Fortunately for him, being the setup man for Robertson has helped him take a step forward in his development.

In 55 games with the Peterborough Petes, the young centre has 63 assists and 75 points. While those aren’t earth-shattering numbers for a player in his fourth season in the OHL but there have been improvements.

Der-Arguchintsev got his name on the map last year in training camp where he got a chance to play in an exhibition game before signing an entry-level deal. Depending on how he does in camp this time around, there is a chance SDA goes down to the ECHL and plays with the Newfoundland Growlers unless there is a need for centres with the Marllies.
