TFC at Inter Miami CF

Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale – April 25

Atlanta and Minnesota in 2017. The second team in Los Angeles in 2018. FC Cincinnati in 2019. Next up in the MLS expansion cycle are Nashville and Miami.

Due to Nashville being in the Western Conference, TFC will only see them once in 2020, when the debut side travels across to border to lock horns with the Reds in mid-March. But, due to a brand new purpose-built stadium and potential playoff implications, TFC’s first-ever trip to Miami makes this list.

Backed financially by David Beckham and decked out in black and neon pink kits, this new side already seems to have the star-power and flash of its host city. Miami will also have a familiar face in its ranks, as TFC academy graduate Jay Chapman was sent to South Florida in November. On top of that, Miami scooped up noted TFC killer and Panamanian international Román Torres to fortify their back line.
