1. Help clean up the mess in Dallas

These are trying times in Jerry World. After going 8-8 (including a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Bills), the Cowboys parted ways with longtime head coach Jason Garrett and are moving in a new direction under the guidance of Mike McCarthy.

The former Packers boss inherits some money issues though, as QB Dak Prescott, DE Michael Bennett, TE Jason Witten, CB Byron Jones, S Jeff Heath, WR Randall Cobb and Amari Cooper, among others, are all free agents.

Even with Jerry’s cash flow, not all of these guys are going to have “The Star” on their pay stubs in 2020. As you may have noticed, there are two WR’s included in that lengthy list of players, and both could be targets of the Bills.

Cooper is one of the best WR’s in the game today, and a bonafide number one target. His elite route-running ability is particularly intriguing, as onus would be taken off of Josh Allen‘s untamed arm if his targeted receiver could do more on his end to be as open as possible.

If Dallas chooses to retain Cooper, Randall Cobb isn’t a bad choice either. McCarthy might be partial to the former Packer, but if allowed to walk, Cobb brings experience and stability to the table. The Kentucky product had a resurgent year, posting over 800 yards receiving for the first time since 2015. Obviously, if Cooper is available, pay the man. But, if Cobb hits the open market, the Bills could look his way too.
