After a busy off-season, the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to get over the hump with expectations at an all-time high going into the 2019-20 season.

It is almost time to drop the puck on another Toronto Maple Leafs season and you can tell that pressure is at its highest considering all the moves made and the money being invested in this core group.

Of course, what happens during the regular season won’t mean as much unless the team is able to translate that to success in the playoffs but you have to think this team has learned from past mistakes. This was even something we discussed in-depth on the latest episode of the Tip of the Tower Podcast. 

When it comes to this season, the Leafs have a lot of work to do to prove they can beat teams like the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning especially with a lot of changes made upfront and on the backend.

As we head into the 2019-20 season here are five bold (or maybe not so bold) predictions for the Leafs.
