Sixer roll into town for the first time since Game 7

10. Philadelphia 76ers at Raptors – Nov. 25, 2019

This game marks the first time these two clubs will do battle since the seven-game epic they put on during the playoffs last season, which culminated in “The Shot.”

Both teams will be down a superstar from their playoff teams a year ago, as Jimmy Butler has shed his winter coat for a tank top and fled to Miami while Kawhi has…you know…gone home.

Anyways, both the Sixers and Raptors should be contending come playoff time, and head to head matchups like this one could go a long way in determining seeding and home-court advantage in the first couple of rounds.

There are many more mouth-watering matchups on the Raptors’ 2019-20 slate, as, unlike previous years, the Raptors cannot afford to let their foot off the gas at any point in time.

While the Raptors might not be battling it out with Milwaukee for the first seed again, they still look like a surefire playoff team with upside once the postseason begins. Just two more months folks, and then basketball is back.

***Honourable mention goes to the Raptors at Hawks on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. While this game might not have a lot to do with the standings (unless Trae Young emerges in a big way this season), it is much bigger than basketball, as King was born, attended college and did a great deal of work in Atlanta bettering the lives of its residents. It should make for a special night of basketball and celebration.

Next. Lowry deserves to end career in Toronto. dark
