Weeks 11-13: at Miami, vs Denver, at Dallas

Hovering around .500, this stretch of games is going to be critical to the Bills’ playoff hopes, considering what lies ahead. The Bills have played well the last couple of years in Miami. That’s a winnable game.

They can ill-afford a slip-up against Denver at home. Whether it’s Joe Flacco, Drew Lock or someone else behind centre, the Bills need to find a way against a team that has become a shell of it’s former Super Bowl 50 championship self.

Going down to Dallas is still as daunting as its ever been. Their young core of QB Dak Prescott, WR Amari Cooper, RB Ezekiel Elliott, DE Demarcus Lawrence and LB Leighton Vander Esch is as good as any in the league.

If Elliott is still with the team (given his recent threats of a holdout for a new contract) for Week 13, expect another gritty battle in the trenches between the Bills’ elite pass rush and the Cowboys’ ridiculous offensive line. A full season of Cooper, the continued improvement of Michael Gallup and the acquisition of former Green Bay Packer Randall Cobb should help improve the Cowboys’ twenty-third ranked passing attack from last season if Prescott can get the ball to them.

There’s always some sort of drama going on with the Cowboys, and if Bills Mafia can invade Jerry World and make their presence known in the stands, they have a shot. This game will be won and lost in the trenches. 3-0 is definitely there for the taking, but let’s continue the conservative nature of this and go with 2-1. This moves the Bills to 7-5.
