Minnesota Twins

Apparently, the Twins are the team looking for a package deal with Stroman and closer Ken Giles.

The issue for the Blue Jays is that both players are pretty valuable on their own that it doesn’t make sense to include both in one deal unless the return blows every other offer out of the water.

Royce Lewis, Alex Kirilloff, Jordan Balazovic, Brusdar GraterolStephen GonsalvesFernando Romero, or Kohl Stewart are names the Blue Jays should be looking at in a potential deal involving one or both pitchers.

Considering Stroman would be the third options behind Jake Odorizzi and Jose Berrios, you wonder if Minnesota tries to avoid the big payday for Stroman considering they do have options in the minors and their bullpen is the biggest area of concern.

Regardless, the Blue Jays will have options to consider and they should consider getting ahead of other sellers considering there could be other quality starters put on the market.
