The Drake sports curse lives on as the Toronto Maple Leafs fell 6-4 to the Boston Bruins in Game 4of their playoff series.
The Toronto Maple Leafs entered Game 4 with a 2-1 series lead, with Canadian music icon Drake spotted wearing a Leafs jersey in the crowd.
As has become a theme with Drake and sports, the team that he appears to be supporting was on the end of a disappointing loss.
People swarmed on social media to point out the curse that Drake seemingly carries around with him, with one tweet highlighting a number of times that the singer has snapped photos with players of a particular team that the went on to lose in the game he was attending.

Superstitions are quite prevalent in sports, with players and coaches often having pre-game routines that they believe gives them good luck in the game ahead.
With regards to Drake’s bad luck, or straight up curse as some believe, it has become so bad that a professional football/soccer team in Europe has banned their players from taking photos with him for the rest of the season.
AS Roma, who compete in the Italian Serie A (top tier), have banned their players from taking photos with Drake, with a genuine belief that he brings bad luck to those he is seen with.
Unfortunately for the Toronto Maple Leafs, they were unable to escape their fate and dropped the opportunity to take a firm hold of their first-round series with the 6-4 loss.
With the series now tied up 2-2, the Leafs must now head to Boston to try and perform to the same standard as they did in Games one and three – giving themselves a chance to edge the series before reaching seven games.
If the Leafs can come out of TD Gardens with another positive result, then all will be forgiven – especially if Drake feels the need to put on a Bruins jersey for a game or two.
