He does it again

It is a bit ironic that Pilar was wearing red while making this catch because Pillar got up higher this time around and maybe what works in his favour is that this ball had some serious air under it.

Nicholas Castellanos gave Pillar some serious props after making the catch and while this was at a point in the game where the Detroit Tigers were running away with it, this was a great show of respect.

Just like the last time, Pillar got his foot on the wall and pushed himself high enough to catch the ball. This was very similar to the other one except he had to make a long run to get to the wall, unlike the other one where he didn’t need to come from as far away.

Pillar also reminded fans why you shouldn’t leave the ballpark early even in a blowout because you get to witness a play like that which doesn’t come around too often. Unfortunately, that was the final time Pillar made a catch like that but maybe if he returns with another team, he can give it another shot.
