Brandon Drury, Third Base

Here’s a name that many Jays fans are still getting accustomed to seeing in the lineup.

Drury was acquired, along with Billy McKinney, by the Blue Jays in the deal that saw J.A. Happ head to the New York Yankees. The infielder was in his first season with New York after being acquired from Arizona in a three-team deal.

Drury would play eight games with the Jays before fracturing his hand, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season.

He’s back to 100 percent and will man the hot corner this season. Drury is a career .264/.314/.434 hitter who has eclipsed 50 RBIs twice in his first four MLB campaigns.

He was blemish-free at second and third base last season. At shortstop, however, he had a .944 fielding percentage.

Urena’s ability to play around the diamond will be an asset to the Jays. Expect to see him used in different spots this season.
