We break down a thrilling overtime win for the Toronto Raptors in arguably their biggest game of the season so far, against the Golden State Warriors.

Plenty of people referred to Thursday night’s clash between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors as a potential NBA Finals preview. And unlike last season, this time it feels like a legitimate possibility.

Certainly, the game lived up to all the hype, as the two teams treated the viewing public to a spectacle. In fact, it was arguably the best game of the 2018-19 regular season so far.

Really, there was everything you could hope for in the NBA: a barrage of points, career nights by players, resiliency, intensity, overtime; we could go on.

Most importantly, when it was all said and done, the Raptors came away with a thrilling 131-128 overtime win. And with the game being played before a national audience in the United States, fans from all around the NBA got to see what they are all about.

Even in defeat, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was able to appreciate the evening. As reported by the Associated Press via ESPN, Kerr said:

"“What a game. An incredible basketball game for the fans to watch. We came up just short.”"
