Despite no official confirmation from the Toronto Argonauts, Ricky Ray’s career is probably over. We count down five of the best moments from a glorious CFL career.

Friday sees the Toronto Argonauts aiming to take the season series over the Eskimos, as they head to Edmonton for the rematch. Last weekend, the Double Blue scored a surprising 20-17 win against the Eskimos at BMO Field.

Regardless of the outcome, Friday’s game with the Double-E has arguably greater significance. That’s because this could be the final matchup between the two CFL teams Ricky Ray has suited up for, before he officially retires.

As most teams are aware, Ray suffered a scary-looking injury back in week two, during the Argos’ home-opener against the Calgary Stampeders. As a result, he was ruled out for the remainder of the 2018 season.

There has been no official word yet on the 38-year-old’s future. However, all indications are that his career is over, especially when you factor in his age and how serious the injury is.

As such, we thought this would be a good time to reflect on what has been a fantastic career for Ray. Join us, as we count down the top five moments from his time in the CFL.
