The Toronto Maple Leafs announced the signing of star centre John Tavares on a seven-year deal on Sunday, but who will he play with?

John Tavares’ contact will see him earn $11 million a year and gives the Toronto Maple Leafs arguably the strongest centre depth in the entire NHL.

But head coach Mike Babcock and the Leafs will now have to think about how the team could potentially line up of offence.

With Tavares joining young star Auston Matthews and Nazem Kadri as the team’s centre options next season, there will be plenty of debate as to who will have the honour of playing alongside him.

Chris Johnston wrote for Sportsnet that the idea of playing alongside Mitch Marner was a part of what sold him to come to the Leafs, along with a strong pitch from Matthews the past couple of days.

So here at Tip of the Tower, we take a look at the offensive lines the Toronto Maple Leafs could potentially roll out next season.
