Toronto Maple Leafs: Myriad of takeaways from Locker Cleanout Day

A rift between coach and star, free agency, new line combinations, and questions about a new GM were all on the agenda as the Toronto Maple Leafs cleaned out their lockers.
It’s one of the hardest days of the season for an NHL team to face. On Friday, the Toronto Maple Leafs met with the media one last time during their locker cleanout.
Nearly every member of the team, including Head Coach Mike Babcock and General Manager Lou Lamoriello, answered questions regarding their record-breaking season, the Leafs’ departure from the postseason, as well as their thoughts on the offseason and what’s to come.
