2. Raptors turn it over

If you drive a knife through your hand, you’ll find it inordinately hard to pick up a glass of milk to drink.

The Raptors had 19 total turnovers, including 13 by half time, leading the Wizards to score 28 points off crucial mistakes. That’s a full quarter’s worth of points easily made because the raptors failed to squeeze the orange.

A total of 21 of the points came on the fast break and although the Raptors’ defense hasn’t been stringent recently, it’s hard to lock down an opponent whose running full speed towards the rim.

The Raptors are third-last in points allowed off turnovers, at 20 per game. They won two games with that margin and lost the latest by 19.

If the Raptors can cut down on the turnovers to at least their regular margin of 13.4 instead of the astronomical 16.7 it is now while getting back on defense, Games 4 and 5 could be blow outs. Fail to cut down on the turnovers and Wall continues to ram the ball down your throat on the way to victory.
